a movie is a sequel but it's a totally different cast. like american pie, the first 3 were great but now they have 4 and 5 which is with a all new people and it juts seems like they should stop making american pie movies. also like dumb and dumber, with jim carey it was funny as hell but dumb and dumberer was stupid because it just seems like he's trying to follow what jim carey did and failed.

OMG I totally agree with what you said about Dumb and Dumber. The first one was sooooo awesome. But the second was so stupid, because the guy who played Jim Carey's character (Lloyd? lol) was just trying to act like Jim Carey the whole time , and it was extremely annoying. And second movie had the same things happen in the first one too. For example, they were both fighting over a girl in both the first one and second one.....and there were other ones too but I can't remember them right now..but it was so annoying to watch..

Movie studios are notorious for taking a good idea (or even a bad one) and wringing every ounce of originality out of it to make a buck or a dime. They call it riding the wave; I call it laziness and pure lack of creativity.
