Black Boy grew up in a single parent home. His mother worked hard to provide a home but was dependent on foodstamps. She tried to stretch the foodstamps to last a month. Her southern cooking recipes where mostly greens, fatback and cornbread. Sometimes like on t.v. he saw what other families ate like steak, turkey dinners and convenient foods to microwave. No one told blackboy to stay off the streets and get an education. He vowed never to live in povery so he eventually sold drugs. Now black boy is fed 3 meals a day in prison.
