i do not know any site but i can tell you about a software which might be so much helpfull for your desires.
please go to google and search for ( Limewire free software ) and download it and once u download it then u can type in the software for the songs u need and want. thts the best way to download songs for free , Cheers!

you can download songs for $.99 on iTunes though which isn't that bad

There are no such things. Some files are free here and there but for the most part, all music is copyrighted.

limewire.com has a pretty good one
kazaa.com is also useful
shareeza.com, in my opinion has the best one though. Be careful though, all can cause harm to your PC through downloading viruses unintentionally.
