Why should anyone get offended by a mother breast feeding? It is a childs right to eat and since a mother produces the food for her child which is the best thing to give your child and brings the mother and child closer it should be allowed. The mother however should cover herself while she does it with a blanket or something of the sort. Now ask your self this questiion, should we get offended when adults eat?

I'm sure some people would, but It is a natural process. To not feed your child would be worse. I think it is great there are some women in this world that feels their child is more important than anything else in the world. Mothers milk agrees with the child's digestive system more so than soy or other formulas. I think every woman should breast feed their child if they can. It isn't fair to the child if she doesn't. By getting mothers milk the child has a natural immunity system that protects them.

No because it's a completely natural thing! God gave us breasts to feed our children. Breasts are like train sets, meant for the kiddies but it's always the dads who end up playing with them. I breast fed my two sons. Why should I have to run off to a private place like I have something to be ashamed of? Anyone who gets offended is just plain stupid. I breast fed my kids to give them the best start in life, that makes me a damn good mother not a public spectacle. Tsk

It depends on a number of things. Some people are more sensitive to such things than others. Also, it depends on how the mother does it. It if it discreet and subdued, then no problem. But if she just pulls out a boob and says "there you go, get to suckling" then maybe not so cool.

It doesn't bother me. So what a baby has to eat, and in a way it's nice being reminded that some people still has a natural connection to their children. Especially nowadays that we have so much processed foods and kids are becoming unhealthier everyday.

Yes, it's disgusting and I shouldn't have to see that. I'm a woman and I think that is something that should be private between the mother and her child.
