She currently has a skin infection which is being treated with Fuciderm cream and Baytril (antibiotics) 0.25ml. She seems fine in her self but was wondering wether the sneezing and UTI could be a side effect from the antibiotic as they only started when she started the Baytril. Oh she has also had an injection as a precaution for mites.

Wow...I feel bad. When we see a rat, even one, we call an exterminator right away.

Sounds like your little rat has a lot of meds right now. Consult the vet, with the new symptoms. The blood in the urine is the part I'm more concerned about.

Call the vet and you may consider witholding the medication until you speak with the vet. Make sure the rat is drinking plenty of water to help w/ the UTI.

Take her to the vet NOW! Passing blood in urine is NEVER a good sign. She may be having a very bad reaction to the antibiotics.

She could be having a reaction to the antibiotic. Take her back to the vet as soon as possible for a check up.
