The kids will think that its possible to live in the north pole. Also if you believe in jesus then santa may as well be a god too since he can use powers to do miracles like fly and fit a miilion presents into a some bag. Also, you are lying to them. You shouldn't lie to children

Why the heck not? There's precious little magic left for kids in today's world. let them have Santa for a few years! There is no harm in it.

Also, when they find out he's not real, rather than feel cheated most tend to feel a bit more grown-up. I think this is a good thing!

i belive you shouldn't tell kids santa doesn't exist i mean that ruins it for the children. At that ages of 1-9 children dont have much to looks foward to. They don't have money to give presents. they don't really understand the true meaning of christmas.its not even lieing until they ask you if santa is real right?! and if they do you just tell them belive what you wish , and then add me I belive in it all so that will make them ponder. Alot of kids will ask bt 2 minutes later they forget about. Let the kid find out on their own. I know it sound super harsh but the longer they know santa is real the better there christmas spirit. I belive in santa all the way up to 9 I just stop beliveing I don't why but I did and so will the kid. But it is also your descion if you feel in your heart to tell the child go on ahead just be preapaered for a sour face on christmas day! and make sure you break it to them gently!

Of course it is right......
That is childhoud about. You are thinking with adult mind....put in their place. Didnt you like to believe in that when u were a kid?
It is not a lie, is to keep a fantasie that almost all the kids have. Then, kids couldnt believe in Easter Bunny either. That is the magic time of children.
When my sons were kids, they also heard the noise of the bells when they thought that Santa was close to our home.To see their faces full of happiness bcoz of that ..was very, very enjoyable.
Why to denie a kid that nice beliefs?? Where is the harm of that? The world has so much bad things, that our kids will face when grow up. Let's them enjoy their dreams while they can.

I have mixed thoughts about that. I agree that telling your kids santa is real, and then telling them Jesus is real might not sit well with them later. I mean if santa turns out to be fake then Jesus could be too in their minds. I think you should not pretend with your kids, but you can still have "santa" come. Fill the stockings on christmas eve, and tell your kids how the tradition came about. Let them know about santa, just let them know he isnt actually real.

LOL.

In a way I think this is rediclious. People get so mixed up in christmas giving, santa, and decorations they forget about the REASON FOR THE SEASON!!

Jesus!!

anyway...
I dont think its wrong. There once was a man who gave presents to children in his village....

His wealthy parents, who raised him to be a devout Christian, died in an epidemic while Nicholas was still young. Obeying Jesus' words to "sell what you own and give the money to the poor," Nicholas used his whole inheritance to assist the needy, the sick, and the suffering. He dedicated his life to serving God and was made Bishop of Myra while still a young man. Bishop Nicholas became known throughout the land for his generosity to the those in need, his love for children.

Simple gift-giving in early Advent helps preserve a Christmas Day focus on the Christ Child.

Right, then there's no Easter Bunny, tooth fairy, and no miracles that you can prove.

Childhood is just that and sometimes our beliefs last until we find out from our peers, and we verify with our parents that then the truth comes out.

It's good to believe in lots of things that we find out soon enough are not true.
However, GOD is different. We find out that the only thing GOD cannot do is fail. Yup, that's different GOD can do anything as long as we ask, and sometimes we just ask in our hearts.
Miracles do happen even though I can't prove them. That's called faith.

GOD bless.

Kids grow up way too fast today and Santa is just another fantasy of children that gives them hope and excitement. It is a celebration of the birth of the Messiah and miraculous things should be included.

you ought to be embarrassed approximately your self. what style of occasion are you putting for the boy? right here you're married to Mr. Owl and you have a boy chum??? shame on you, god gets you for that. right here is what you do - you may play that bf or husband (which ever one you opt for), tell your newborn to ask "Santa" for a diamond neclace or new automobile or regardless of present you opt for. Then whilst your bf tells you what the newborn needs, you may say he has to get it for him or the newborn won't think of that Santa is actual. That way whilst the newborn gets the good property you may "carry" it for him. After some years you ought to to offload the bf or he would get clever. you may continuously get yet another sugar daddy.

NO that is lying to your children that he exists and makes them when they get older doubt the existance of God. However, You can tell your children that Santa charector is a mythical charector and only in movies. Please keep your Christmas Christ Centered. It will bring your families close together if you put your Christmaa Christ Centered.
I have seen someone say that we need to give children something to believe in. Well what is wrong of beliving in the Savior Jesus Christ and what he done for us?
