Sure, This happened before when I was talking to someone about marriage. That man was so religious while I know nothing about the marriage issues from a religious point of view. I was trying to be up to the conversation but I turned out to be the foolest girl ever when it comes to religion.
I admitted later that he was not my style...

Sure, when I'm bored with a conversation, I say something very deep and wise, that turns out in a dumb joke. Just to spice up the conversation a little

yeah sometimes i do! i take my old glasses and put them at the tip of my nose and do long pauses between each word as if i was thinking a lot and then i put my hands out and do big gestures to emphasize what i'm saying - it's ridiculous cuz i can end up saying the stupidist things! oh and what really works to sound intelligent is you cough at the beginning to clear your throat
