missed misscarriage?

im 6 and half weeks pregnant i started bleeding on friday i had a scan done and was told im still pregnant but the geststaion sack was lying really low i was told i could misscarry or have a missed misscarriage but i would like more info on both of these please

The position of the gestational sac is only important if it is VERY low.
The term "missed abortion" is a confusing term that means that the baby has died but it has not been passed yet. In it's original definition, it refers to pregnancies not passed after at least SIX weeks. Nobody uses that term correctly and many people are confused by it.
At six and one half weeks (from the first day of the last actual period) it can be difficult to see the heart beat on ultrasound.
Almost one third of all pregnancies end is some type of miscarriage. It is very common. Many of these are just like what you are describing.
The gestational sac this far along is about the size of a small grape. If you pass it, it will be whitish or grayish in color (not dark or liver colored).

I am sorry for what you are going through.

Missed Miscarriage: Women can experience a miscarriage with out knowing it. A missed miscarriage is when embryonic death has occurred but there it not any expulsion of the uterus. It is not known why this occurs. Signs of this would be a loss of pregnancy symptoms and the absence of fetal heart tones found on an ultrasound.

i lost an unplanned infant the same way while it happened the experience of loss became into un bearable and we did start up attempting returned 3 months when I realised i wanted the infant the 2d i knew they have been in there , we had purely instructed acquaintances and relatives i became into 10wks 5 days :-( i think of a few thing like this makes u know what that's you prefer good success interior the destiny it could artwork out super ive had 2 very almost 3 babies because of the fact the loss x x x x
