No Borat is not, as far as I know, meant to be an Arab.

And Kazakhstan is a former state of the USSR that became an independent nation after the collapse of that nation-state.

It is just under modern Russia as I understand it.

Kazakstan is its own nation, it used to be part of Russia before the split up of the Soviet Republic.

He is suppose to be from a backwards European nation

Yes, Borat is suppose to be an Arab, but the guy who plays him is Jewish. Kazakhstan is next to Russia, China, and some other "-stan" countires.

If it exist at all, would be around Afghanistan. Its a stupid film. I hope the students sue the socks off the producers. I am overly sick of people running down the United States of America especially Americans. Why do you think we have such a big prob. with illegal aliens. Karazkhstan borders Russia, but it is definitely not in Russia. It is in Central Asia. Used to be a republic in the Soviet Union.

It's an oil rich state in central Asia and Bush is friends with their corrupt ruler. In fact, he spent a night at the White House recently, and Bush "heaped praise" on him after their meeting.

yes he is an arab and kazakistan was once part of the ussr but some countrys broke lose of the ussr so theres kazakistan uzbekistan, turkishstan, pakistan and a couple more so to answer your question kazakistan is on the east side of russia
