In this case it was newsworthy because he used to be an important political figure, that´s why.

Is not about caring, I know some people will cry his death, in my case I won´t, he was a dictador and the only thing I am feel sorry is that justice was never done on time.

P.S. Hope he will burn in hell !!!!

It's newsworthy to the familes of the 3000 or more people that he had killed during his rule who will now be denied of getting justice. I doubt he was going to live long enough to get justice done on him anyway.

It's just to make you feel your own mortality a little more. Doesn't mean you should care, but maybeyou can learn what caused him to die and prolong your own life by not doing what he did.
