It doesn't matter what the source is, but the file type. You need to let us know the file extension.

If you attempt to run a file with an extension that your computer doesn't recognize, Windows will ask what you want to do. One of the choices is to use the Internet to find the proper application. Choose that option.

Another option is to take the file and convert it to another type. You'll still need to know what the file extension is, then you can go to www.download.com and look for a program that can do this. Once converted, you can play it with your normal media player application.
