Sometimes, I wanna skip foundation to save time. But I am afraid my make-up would turn out hideous.

Unless you are trying to cover something up, you really don't need a creme/liquid foundation. Try something like: Bare Minerals Powder Foundation or Bare Natural. It works great to even your skin tone. However, during the day, make sure if you feel/it looks like it is rubbing off, re-apply it. Make sure your face is free of oil first. To get rid of the oil and make the powder go on smooth, Oil Blotting Papers work really well. You can get them for about $5 for like a lot of papers.

I ALWAYS apply foundation before the powder. But there is no rule stating that you have to. Just try skipping the foundation part and see what it looks like. If it looks terrible, you'll just learn to never do it again.

No, but there must be something on your face for the powder to stick to.

Other than foundation, which can be too heavy for daytime use, you can use a facial moisturizer. I recommend a tinted moisturizer for sheer coverage. Dip a large brush in loose powder, tap off the excess, and lightly dust your face using a circular motion. If you can see the powder on your face after you apply it, just sweep a clean cotton ball over it.

Skip the powder and just put on the foundation. Powder shows lines and makes your face dry.

Depends on your skin type, I rarely wear foundation unless my skin is looking particularly grey or has blemishes.

Basically foundation will even out your skin tone and will make the rest of your make up stay on for longer.

You can also get powders that are heavier and called foundations. They are good for oily skins but not so good on dry as it shows up any flakes

It depends on what works best for you. I know without the foundation, you will want to powder touch up threw the day.

depends on the powder.. some brands look cakey or dry if you dont use foundation, but if you put on moisturizer... same effect. Maybe you should try the mineral makeup? its a foundation/powder in one. I love it, I dont use it all the time... but on light days I do, and it covers EVERYTHING... you can layer it without looking fake

You don't always need to apply foundation. Just a simple powder works just fine. Loose powder will work just as well. It covers all blemishes and skin irregularites.

it doesn't matter....i don't ever put on foundation, but i do just go ahead and put on the powder. so, basically whatever you feel like is right.
