Is French "surrender for bribes" really a good policy?

The French are entirely entrenched on preserving France for the French. Their policies are only aimed at what is good for France and no one else.

They attack anyone who looks evenly remotely likely to cause them trouble. They sank the Rainbow Warrior, they are rabidly anti American and anti British.

British policy is altruistic. Britain tackles world issues like poverty and fair trade.

The real answer is that France is almost alone in the world as only interested in itself and it's own interests. It is interesting that there have been a number of questions on this site asking who are the rudest people and every time it has been virtually unanimously the French!!!
