all linksys is username admin and password admin. if that does not work go to linksys.com and look up the book for your router under downloads and find out where on the router is your reset or default botton.....this will change it all back to admin and admin and then you will have to go back in and rename your network and so forth and type in a new security password for when others try to attach to your network

The default password for the router is admin in lower case letters.
You should leave the user name blank.

From Lynksys website:
If all else fails:
Forgotten Router Password

Question

I changed the routers password, and I forgot what I changed it to. Is there anything I can do?

Answer

Hold the reset button on the unit for 30 seconds or more and the router will be restored to factory defaults. This also means that your configuration will be set to factory defaults also, so if your router is configured for your ISP you may loose your connection until you set the unit up again. The default password for the router is admin in lower case letters

To start off, you need to make sure you are plugged into an Ethernet port on the router. If it's a used router, you will probably need to contact the former owner for the password. If that's not possible, try holding in the reset button on the router for 10 or 15 seconds - this will hard-reset the router. At that point, the password will be: admin

No upper case letters, username blank.

If you've lost the password, you'll have to reset it to factory settings and start over from the beginning. There's a button on the back. Hold it down with a pen point and power cycle your router. Then re-do the configuration following the manufacturer's instructions.
