you better take it to a mechanic or better yet, get a mobil one to come to you :)
the more you drive it, the more chances of blowing a head gasket :(

While the car is running and warmed up (not hot) Squeeze the top radiator hose. If it is firm and warm then you don't need to change thermostat because it is opening up correctly. As far as heater blowing cold air, If thermostat is opening correctly then your heater coil under the dash is stopped up and not cycling warm water through it. If the heater hose doesn't get firm then you follow the top radiator hose to the block where you Will see the thermostat housing. There should be 2 bolts holding it in. Remove the 2 bolts replace thermostat ( with proper temperature range one) and gasket. Start engine( with the radiator cap off) and let it warm up. Once the engine is warm (top hose should get warm and firm) then top off coolant and overflow bottle (if necessary). Hope this helps D.

First guess, low coolant. Not enough in the system to keep your engine cool and your interior warm. Have you checked the coolant yet? This is step 1 with a cooling/heating system problem.
Now that you've looked and found it low, then topped off with a proper 50/50 mix of the right coolant, you have to determine where all that missing coolant went. You might be able to spot this visually or you might have to take it to a mechanic for a pressure test.

sounds like thermostat if its overheating fairly quickly from start up and the coolant level is correct then follow top rad hose to eng there should be a housing that the top hose is connected to bolted to the cylinder head undo those 2-3 bolts or nuts there should be a thermostat in behind that get a replacement one matched up and a gasket(could be an o-ring or paper gasket) and put back together jiggle pin up(ask parts man)bleed cooling system and away you go. if its not behind top hose housing check behind bottom hose housing

the psychic mechanic says: When ever heated water is not reaching the heater core... the first thing to check is the coolant level in the radiator. Second if the coolant is low it is a sign of a leak. If coolant is full, then change the thermostat

Check to make sure you have the proper coolant level. Is your engine warming up to proper operating temp?
