No, but there was some tension. She only kissed Jack to trap him on the ship, so the Kracken would let the rest go.

I think it's more Jack being in love with Elizabeth, than Elizabeth being in love with Jack. In the beginning of the movie, there are a few minor references to Elizabeth..
1. The crew saying Jack is acting more strange.. something's got Jack "vexed"
2. Jack saying "Why is the rum always gone..", basically showing that he is thinking of her.
3. When Tia Delma says "Jack Sparrow does not know what he wants, or do know but are loathe to claim it as your own"
4. When everyone was saying what vexes all men, Jack was the first to respond... "A woman.."
According to Terry and Ted (the writers), the final kiss scene between Jack and Elizabeth was Elizabeth slaking her *lust* and drowning her guilt. I think Elizabeth was just guilty for being attracted to Jack Sparrow.. she wanted to be loyal to Will, and she wanted to save him (and everyone else) from the Kraken.

sort of...elizabeth is a little confused with her emotions as well. she really wants freedom and adventure and she loves pirates (capt. jack is obviously a pirate). i think she just has a little crush on him right now (she desires him because that's truly what her heart wanted) and like it says in the movie, she's "curious". but she's still in love with will. the question now is if Will still loves her after he saw her kiss jack.
i hope i could help clear a few things up! ;)

I just got back from it and it was freaking awesome!! I still like first one better though, because Barbossa is my favorite character in it and the dialogue was absolutely brilliant in the first movie. If you do go to see this movie, the last 10-15 minutes are the best part of it. The whole movie is great, but the last part had me almost scream out "OH SH*T!!!" in the middle of a packed theater.

Yes!!!... and I'm glad, they're cute don't you think ;)
[That's why the compass always points to Jack when Elizabeth holds it: he IS what she truly wants!]
Plus if she didn't love Jack, why would the writers mess up the relationship between Elizabeth and Will for no reason....

Well I think that in her heart she is, but she just doesn't want to face that truth. Near the end when she was kissing him, she was just trying to get him locked on the boat. Yet, she probably does.

She desires him, due to the compass that points to your hearts desire points to Jack at one point in the movie. But, I don't think she loves him. It's more of a lust type thing.

No. She's in love with Will.
What she has with Captain Jack is affection, regard, and let's face it, she's drawn to his charisma. Who among us isn't? The man is very, very charming and charismatic.
So she's not in love with him. It's baser than that.
