i need to know where i can get dial-up internet that doesn't require a credit card or checking account.

Net zero... except a lot of their dial up numbers are long distance. Be sure you would be dialing a local number, or your phone bill would go up.

In the phone book you will find all the ISP's in your area, you just start dialing. You may need to actually go there and pay them a deposit or first few months up front, but dial up is cheap enough to pay 6-12 months without hardly feeling any lighter in the wallet.

Not sure where you live, but if you pay by check for a whole year some will let you do so. Also check with your phone company, or a competing phone company, they sometimes will bill you to your local phone bill.

Use the one that bill you telephone, the add the charge to your phone bill.
