I never had the chance, rats! If I thought the person was interesting or provocative, I would definitely read their diary, provided I was 100% sure I would not be caught. However, I am still angry when I remember my mother reading my own personal diary (locked with a key) when I was 14 and out on a date. She was morally wrong! I am still embarrassed and that was 42 years ago! I am enraged! That makes me a nosy hypocrite.

Yes, I have only to find that she was in love with me but never admitted to me and foolish as I was I thought that I was not worthy of her and never dared to confess my feelings for her. When I read the diary she was already a mother of two and she had married my best friend.

No, in fact I don't know anyone that keeps a diary except for boring purposes like writing down appointments.
When I was a teenager my dad read mine though. I've never forgiven him.

Yes,my wifes once out of curiosity and i can tell you that i won`t do it again,as i didn`t realise how much of a grouch i am in her eyes.Don`t do it as you might get some home truths that you may not want to know about. Then again it might help you change for the better,it worked for me!

No

But an ex read mine and then questioned me on the content of it. I hadn't realised that he'd read it so when he relentlessly asked about previous relationships I tried to cut some of the detail so he would shut up. He went beserk.

Nutter - eavesdroppers always hear things they don't want to.

Goodness no way, that would be the ultimate no no for me, I would hate anyone to read mine, somethings are just too private for anyone elses eyes.
