How do I change the look in an as shtml file in an outside textfile?

I have an outside text file that is embedded in an html file. How do I change the look of the text. Also, I put the code in a table but it still won't wrap. Can somebody help me out please. THanks

Embed or iframe will show the source file as is. The formatting of the containing page will not apply. You have to add formatting, including sizing it to fit the available space, to the source file. If editing the source file isn't an option, use a PHP or CGI script to print it out with formatting. Something along the lines of
