It works really well. It gives the illusion of flawless skin that has not been matched by any other makeup I have tried. I recommend getting the starter kit in the closest shade to your skin first because the brushes come with it and they are really expensive. I would definitely try it and if you go to sephora to get it let them put it on you first and you can see if you like it. The only con with it I have found is the little tins it comes in have holes for it to come out in so when you travel with it a lot of it falls into the lid and gets everywhere so I would get something to cover it with. You will see what I mean if you try it and take it somewhere. The benefits of it are just amazing though when used properly

I've been using Bare Escentuals for 4 years and I LOVE it!!!!!
I know the cost is a lot, but it takes me so long to go through it that it lasts me a really long time. (especially after you get used to not needing to use so much) Get the introductory kit, it's around $65.00, it has two shades of foundation, warmth, mineral veil and some good brushes. (The good brushes are the key!) I have only needed to purchase more foundation about twice a year, and I wear makeup every single day! The warmth lasts forever because you don't use much, and mineral veil I usually purchase once a year. So, if I add that up, I've spent...around $100 a year on the makeup. About as much as I would have spent on cheap crappy oily makeup.
Just give it a try for the $65 bucks, your skin will thank you.

It's probably great....but the cost is what I don't like.
I ordered Arbonne's mineral powder foundation, and I love the results. And it's half the price! Mine was $34, and it lasts about 9 months. Bare minerals is about $60 somethin.
Avon has one....but it has 20+chemicals and fillers....thats why its so cheap...it's not just minerals!
Arbonne's has 7 ingredients +1 colorant.
If you want order info...jus clik my name and/or e-mail me!
They have a 45 day money back guarantee too...and if you really like it you can buy wholesale for $29 sign up. No minimum, no hassles, just 35% off for a year!

I love it... I just hate the cost! I use it on days that I dont want to put on a full face... but if I need to look absolutely flawless (parties.. pictures...) then I still wear liquid foundation from Clinique because although bare minerals makes my skin look good, it doesnt smooth the texture of my skin the way liquid does. Sometimes it makes me look a bit dry

I like it when I don't have a break out. It is light-weight, and almost completly matches the skin tone. It looks really nice. A little goes a looonnggg way so you can get by with using the same one for a long time. I go mine in September or August and I am still using it.
