I always carve my own path. I rely on my street smarts and natural instincts. I follow, of course, because everyone has to follow someone, whether its your parents, your boss, and other influential persons. There will always be someone to tell you what to do. Following isnt bad, unless you follow blindly.

I carve my own path. If I followed blindly, the walking would probably be easier, but I wouldn't be able to influence the direction.

Most of the time I carve my own path... well sometimes I do follow, but never blindly of course...

I do a little of both. If something has worked for years, then I follow that path cause it's easier. Some other things I like to strike out on my own path on.
