I have just started the pill again after about 6 years (Ovysmen). On the 14th day of my first pack I started spotting/bleeding (very lightly) dark brown blood and this has been the same now for 8 days. , basically I could wear a pantyliner for the whole day and it would be enough protection. I believe it to be breakthrough bleeding and it is prefectly normal for the 1st and maybe 2nd month of starting the pill. Anyone else experienced this and how long does it last?

What you describe is indeed break-through bleeding, and it should stop by the time you're into your 3rd pack. If not, you may need to talk to your doc and get put on a stronger dose of hormone. Your body should adjust however.

you will possibly in all probability no longer get pregnant till 10-14 days after the 1st day of your final era. Implantation bleeding is oftentimes in basic terms recognizing, which oftentimes happens around the time whilst your era is due. that's in all probability that your in basic terms experiencing numerous hormone ranges for this reason of your antibiotic use, and not pregnant or miscarrying, extremely once you're on an somewhat low dose pill. Your delivery administration isnt secure on antiobiotics or perhaps some hypersensitive reaction meds and cough drugs can impact it. It does not harm to be extra effective careful and to apply extra secure practices next month till you point off back.

I went through about 5 different brands of birth control before I found one that didn't give me breakthrough bleeding midcycle. You really need to try each one for at least three months, though six months is better - the ones I tried would be fine for the first three months and then after that I'd get breaktrhough bleeding.
