There are those that believe that British royalty is descended from the line of Israeli kings beginning with King David. They show that the kings of Ireland beginning around 500 BC were descended from David. The stone of Scone, upon which Irish, and later Scottish and English kings were traditionally coronated on, was said to be brought to Ireland by the prophet Jeremiah, who coronated King Eochaidh of Ireland. The harp which the Irish emblem came from was also supposedly brought over by these Jews along with the stone of Scone.
The current royal family can trace its descendants back to those early Irish kings...the same family ruled over Scotland(where the stone was also transferred), and later England, when James I became the first Scottish monarch of England.
