Santa Clause Cookies

take nutter butters(the ones that look like giant peanuts), meltable vanilla squares(from walmart),mini m&ms, mini chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, red sprinkles(little), and icing in a squazable tube(if you can't find one, put the vanilla in a ziplok baggie and cut the corner off but only a little bit of the corner or it won't work)

1) melt 3-6 chuncks of the vanilla into a small bowl
2) dip one end of the nutter butter into the vanilla about 1 in down
3) sprinkle the sprinkles onto the nutter butter
4) use the tube or baggie to put a border on the "hat"(sprinkles) (bottom)
5) put a white chocolate chip onto the edge of the "hat" for the fuzz ball
6) dip the other side of the nutter butter into the vanilla to make the beard
7) use the tube or baggie to stick the eyes(mini chocolate chips) and the nose(red m&ms) on
8) put on wax paper and let dry

you can give as a present or give the recipe to them and they can make it themselves.

Go to a local used store or salvation army and buy some globes for lamps. Hot glue a clear ornament ball to the narrow end of the globe. Hot glue gold pipe cleaners on the back for wings and one coming up for a halo and you have yourself your very own angel...I've already given some out for x-mas presents with rave reviews. Battery operated tea lights are a possible idea to put under neath them to add a little more decoration.

Bath Salts are pretty inexpensive and easy to make.
Put equal parts of epsom salts and Kosher salt into
a gallon zip loc. Add 8 to 10 drops of food color and
whatever essential oil you want - about 8 to 10 drops.

Let the air out of the bag, and then squish around until
the color is even. Put it into a pretty lidded jar and tie
with a ribbon, or a jar without a lid, covered in netting
as a room freshener.

Making a clock is a lot of fun. You can get the workings, wood base, numbers, paint, etc. from most craft stores. If you make one using a person’s interests as a theme it can be a pretty cool gift too.

There are loads of Christmas related items, decorations, and gifts that can be made with polymer clay.

This page has lessons and examples for lots of them, but many could also be done with other mediums so could be good for just getting ideas too:
