Eagle (Aqvila) one of Gods 72 Holy names (agnvs) Pelican(Pelicanvs) Lion (Leo)

Dont know Latin so dont know what the story is!

These are the attributes of Christ:- Aqv(u)ila = Eagle, Agnv(u)s = Lamb (of God), Pelicanv(u)s = Pelican, another bird associated with Christ, sometimes shown atop the Cross, Leo = Lion, again associated with Christ

I should have added that, certainly in churches in the UK, that part of the lectern as holds the bible is ofteshaped like an eagle with outstretched wings and less often like a pelican ditto. The reason for the pelican is because in medieval times it was thought that the pelican pecked is breast until it bled to feed it's young - an analogy with Jesus - and see Psalm 102 v6 in the Authorised version. The lion is the symbol of St Mark, but it is a symbol of Jesus having regard to the words of Revelation 5 vv4-5 They also sympolise strength and majesty.

I have one of these bells. It has awesome sound. Got it at a garage sale. 2006 ish The dinger thing looks like a lead fishing weight. It is one of my prize positiones.

Most likely, those are the names of the animals in Latin. Eagle, ..., pelican, lion...

I ran it through my translater, substituting "u" instead of "v"
and it came back "non-upsetment to the animals" I doubt that helps
