I want to take him to the small claims court but cant find his name anywhere

Go through Energywatch (electric and gas consumer council) they can advise you on this and even try help settle whatever the problem is, I have been doing this recently and they are very effective.

Roger Carr is chairman of Centrica plc which owns British Gas and Sam Laidlaw is the Chief Executive - see www.centrica.co.uk.
There are three British Gas businesses - that website lists them

and its not British gas now as its called CENTRICA
