You cant do that with just HTML

OK, I found a website to help, but the coding looks pretty complex. You can do one in JavaScript, but I'm not quite sure how it all works together (I'm just starting to learn JavaScript). There's a way to do it with PHP, but I wouldn't even know where to start.
