Never do that for getting lines to be double-spaced. It won't be really double-spaced if you do so.
As a shortcut, you can press “Ctrl + 2” anywhere in the paragraph you want to be double-spaced.
The second way is as following:
Move cursor to anywhere in the paragraph you want to be double-spaced.
On the “Formatting” toolbar, point to “Line Spacing”, click the arrow, and then select “2”.
Once you do this, you can only click this button to apply the most recently used setting, which is double-spacing.
And the third way:
Move cursor to anywhere in the paragraph you want to be double-spaced.
Right-click on the text, and select “Paragraph” from menu (or select it from “Format” menu, or press “Alt + Ctrl + Shift + P”).
From the “Line Spacing” menu bar, select “Double”.
