Actually I don't think it is. I'm usually kind of down on New Year's. Maybe it's the passing of another year which only emphasizes how quickly time goes.
I don't really get into a celebratory mood that night.
I also don't like the thought of driving out there w/with all the drunken fools.

Personally, I will definitely be celebrating the end of 2006. It was a really crappy year, and I hope 2007 will be better!

because it represents a new time like it starts over but it doesn't really start over. like it would'nt make sense to have 1 christmas in all of time or just one birthday
