Keep in mind, I've already progressed through the storyline there. Then I went BACK INSIDE to obtain Ultima, and have now been wandering the crystal for 7 days trying to get out with my she esper-prize... seriously, 17 hours gametime and i cant get back out... Ive been to every way stone, from XI to XXIV (11 to 24) i found a big boss looking object at the very top but it has no (!) for me to click... I'm usually the one giving answeres but i need help. I cant get below the middle of the crystal to the lower half. I even broke my cardinal rule and looked in the official strategy guide before beating the game, and there wasnt even an answer in there. I even hand drew maps for each level. There isnt anywhere i have NOT been, i think..... please... someone... help me...

Have you tried working your way back to Way Stone I (it takes you to the Gate of Wind in Giruvegan (you know, where you fought Shemhazai)? I don't know if it will work, but I just finished up in the Great Crystal. I haven't went back to obtain Ultima yet, but I'll be careful this doesn't happen to me! Good luck!
