I used to do it all the time until I chose one of the Happy Feet penguins and discovered that it was too short to be seen so you can only see the background. Then I added a Christmas tree to get in the festive spirit, but decided to add some lightning because I was in a bad mood. After Christmas I'll ditch the tree, and who knows what I'll pick next.
At Halloween, I picked the purple dress with long brown hair & goatee. I thought it was very fetching, but people might have gotten the wrong idea, so I changed to the grim reaper costume.
I thought this looked a bit like an angry Obi-Wan (but in a Sith getup) when zoomed in so I changed my name to Darth Kenobi. This was stupid so I then changed it to a demonic looking clown and called myself Pennywise. After Halloween I changed it all again to Mark from Ork and a spaceman outfit, but after pissing off Donna M I changed back to Mark G and discovered the blank wall.
And last week I was dressed as Santa, but wasn't in the mood to continue the charade.

Actually , this holiday schtick is the first time I've changed it. I'll end up going back to my original avatar in a few weeks and probably stay with it.
But maybe not.

I change it when I change. Depending on my mood or if I dyed my hair or something like that.

don't change it, or once did for a few hours had hair but that was to wierd
