I handmade some Christmas Cards with stamping. I can't seem to find the right size envelopes to send them in. Anyone know how to make them?

Well for starters you have to find a peice of paper that is larger enough to use as an envelope. Place the card in the center of the paper but closer to the bottom. Fold the right and left sides in(fold towards each other) Fold the bottom in, Fold the top in. Once you try it like that you are gonna get the general idea and then can try folding the sides/top/or bottom in a fancier way (just play around with) and use tape or glue as you go along. That is just a really simple way to make envelopes and you can do it in seconds.

If the cards are rectangular and are large, you may need a piece of cardstock at least 12"X12". Lay the card in the center and using a ruler, pencil a line around the card giving an allowance of about 1/8" on all 4 sides. Score along the pencil lines then fold up all 4 sides around the card. Now open the folds and cut out all the little corner pieces. Trim all excess paper.leaving an overlap for gluing....about 1/2" overlaps should be enough. To get a clear idea of what I mean, carefully take apart an envelope you already have to see where the 4 sections meet and are glued. Use the original paper on which you have drawn the envelope as a template to trace all your other envelopes.

Probably could unfold a regular card envelope so it's all flat and then compare the size to your card and then take a piece of paper that would be big enough and follow the same folds and design and glue it together.
