2-3 weeks, but check the needles before you buy.if they fall off easy, its a no go,make sure they are firm when you pull on them.always water the tree,it takes about 2 gallons the first few days

It depends how long after x-mas you would like it for. You should not really have it for more than 1 month. (it can get to dry, nad that can be a fire hazzard) If you want it for 1 week after, get it about 2-3 weeks before. If you want to take it down the day after christmas, you can buy it december 1st. Since that passed though, nevermind.
Before purchasing it, make sure the branches are not brittle. BE SURE to water it a lot, as if it dies, you will hava pile of dead leaves. Good luck and happy holidays

winter time. I would not due it until a week or so before christmas, remember to water it and it will loose the needles. The longer it is inside, the more needles you have to clean up later...... go artificial, you can have it up all month, and no needles to clean up

usually three weeks at most, and you'll be in good shape. that way, it won't dry out before christmas. i just got mine yesterday, as a matter of fact!

2 or three weeks before, that way it doesn't dry out, and you get to enjoy it.
