You can purchase them at most banks and malls. I am not sure if you have to have a minimum amount every where but Bank of America sells them and requires a minimum of $25.00.

Look into this more. The fee's can be high, the expiration date can be a problem and some places wont take them (I don't think they can legally refuse, but who wants the bother). I recently read the estimated dollar amount of gift cards not redeemed from last Christmas it's outrageous. Why not good old paper money? If you have to mail it use a check.

you can buy them at Walgreen's....with all the other gift-cards...you can buy them in different denomitations...like...25...50...100...etc..you just pay for that amount!...but the receiver has to pay some kind of 5 dollar fee..to activate it!
