We are theater movie freaks and go 1 or 2 times weekly.
Watching a DVD at Home or on the computer is so claustraphobic and anti-social, it seems to me. What is your opinion?

Number of downloading movies would probably more than going to the movies itself, but no more than watching it on DVD. I think nowadays people are looking for cheap means of entertainment, and the convenience of thing.

If the movie has a special meaning to me and especially if it's a 'big' movie, I like to see it at the theatres when I can. I prefer to buy the dvd and watch on my 'awesome-to-me' system. I'm a dvd nut and have over 300 in my collection. The thing I like downloading is a good television show! I can watch ones I miss or check out ones I never had time for when they aired on tv. I like downloading songs from itunes (but not many per year).

I'm not a big fan of downloading movies. They're just on your computer, and if you're like me and your computer is in your room, you can only sit in a chair and watch it.

I think its going to get way more popular. Personally I'd rather go the movies but who can blame people our economy is so in the dumps these days people rather save a buck or two.

downloading confines you to your computer... and unless you're a dork like me and have the optional output on your laptop to send it to a tv, you're stuck. I don't ever see downloading becoming the big thing, it's like everyone I knew downloaded, but now we all got jobs and buy things or go out to the movies to relax and take a break.

i think people choose to download because they have the option and its a good movie.Going out seems to messy...preparing ur self...buying tickets...popcorn..instead you can sit at home shirtless and watch it...and another factor downloading movies will become popular is because the distance to the mall is FaR :/ ....i just watch free movies at http://videocentral.free-forums.org and www.quicksilverscreen.com ....IIwAnDII

i think people are going to download the movie, burn it to a dvd and watch it on their tv....i just rent the DVD
