yessss there is. my school is pretty much doing the stage version.

Thats a great idea. Maybe you can adapt it for the stage. I bet if you can make it a musical some producer on B'way would bite. That type of stuff is popular right now.
ie Wedding Singer, Awesome 80's Prom

No, but it would be an excellent idea, but the songs would have to be a bit different to avoid sounding like other musicals with the same sound.

Oh Good Golly I hope not. Wasn't the movie ridiculous enough.
Adults are idiots and the root of all our problems. If kids could just talk to each other they could resolve all their differences in a day.... blah blah blah.
