Well it is unforgivable and it hurts. You can never really forgive the person, but you can learn to live with it or leave. That are the 2 choices. I might would forgive the 1st times, but if they did it again I would leave. I'm not a cheater....That is the worse thing ever in my book.

I think it's unforgivable. If a relationship has deteriorated to that point, then the couple should break-up (girlfriend/boyfriend) or divorce (marriage). It is so disrespectful to the other person. If a person feels the need to cheat, then they should get of the relationship.

Every person is an individual and for some people the situation is very complex. You think you have the right to be so upset that you throw away your life, your children's lives, and the people outside the marriage who love you - affairs don't just hurt the wives. They hurt many people. It is a betrayal, and yes, when my husband cheated on me, it did break up our marriage. But if he had been sincerely repentent, regretted it, saw it as a moment of madness etc etc would I throw away everything I had in place to compound the madness? I don't know. I do know it takes a lot of guts to think things through properly and not allow your hurt and your pride to damage everyone. Some marriages do survive, and even for the better. I wouldn't presume to judge another woman - if it's a one-off.

Cheating is cheating whatever the circumstance is. Some people can forgive this, some can't. My ex cheated and that , among other things contributed to our divorce. I think a one time indiscretion May be more forgivable than a long term affair.

It is totally unforgivable. Once a cheater, always a cheater! The relationship should definitely end if someone cheats.

I have been with this girl for 1 year. But if she cheated she would be history no matter how much it hurt me. I can't deal with a lack of trust.

Absolutely unforgivable. And disrespectful, not only of your spouse but of yourself.
