Limewire isn't illegal because in Limewire's privacy policy it states that when you download music you are "sharing files". Just to be safe, I would download Limewire Pro because you only pay a one time fee of twenty dollars, and it is not illegald that way either.

It isn't illegal to have or to use but it is illegal to download copyrighted content. For that matter "stealing" copyrighted material from any source is illegal. But you would have to be getting lots and lots of stuff get suffer any liability for doing it,for the most part if you aren't making copies for sale they Will petty much leave you alone.
