It's a very selective, acedemically challenging university, one of the Ivy League schools in fact.

Cornell is indeed one of the ivy league schools; I believe it's the largest in terms of numbers of undergraduates, and also has among the most "generous" acceptance levels of the schools.

It's supposed to have wonderful facilities, dedicated faculty, etc. It's cold during the winters. No doubt it's expensive, as many of the private colleges in this country are.

Ivy league. Enough said. They have liberal arts, math, and science programs. Also it has a restaurant and hospitality program, a lot less competitive than the rest of the university. Yet still competitive.
