Orgasm is a release of blood and tension built up in the clitoris in females and the penis in males. You do not "undergo" and orgasm, you have one.
The female orgasm is quite different than a man's. A woman does not ejaculate like a man does, nor is she indiscriminate about whom she is having sex with. Women are much more emotional, and sex is more intellectual for them. A man is able to have sex anywhere, anytime, and with almost anyone. Women, on the other hand, must feel love, attraction, and comfortable with their partner in order to have an orgasm. It takes a longer amount of preparation time (foreplay), but it also gives the man pleasure knowing that he pleased a woman.

"Undergo"! Buddy, if you think an orgasm is some kind of ordeal to undergo, you're going about it the wrong way.
