SAGE INCENSE. Also cleansing the House withThe Essential oil Of Sage. Prayer and positive thoughts would be helpful also. If your house is unclean this also attracts negative forces and in the next house you move to investigate why that house is on the Block before you buy it make sure nothing happened there like maybe somebody got killed there 5 years prior or something crazy like that. make sure the energy iis right before you move in there. BURN LOTS OF INCENSE!!!!!

Smudging. There are many ways and many incenses used, sage probably being the most common in the U.S. I personally prefer to use Frankincense, I've had excellent results with it.
However, smudging only clears the space, once you're done and the smoke has completely cleared out they can come back if you don't ward the space.

Sometimes you can not get "rid" Of a ghost. They are connected to the place the are at in one way or another. If it does no harm to you or your family why not let it be. You are in their space not them in yours. Sage is a good cleanser do not know if it will get spirit to leave.
