you can do it how it's said before, but if you wanna do it right, get this program:
Hitman Pro
www.hitmanpro.nl

the website's in dutch, but just download the program and install it, there's also a version in English, it'll install a couple of spyware fighting programs and then when it'll start, it'll make sure that at the end your computer is totally clean. only setback is: it takes about 0,5-2 hrs, depending on what you want to let run and how screwed up your pc is.

To clear cookies go to the top of your window and click :
tools
internet options
then delete cookies
then clear history

to clear the terms on your search bar do this:
hold your mouse over the words that are there to highlight them
then right click with your mouse and select delete. This process must be repeated on all the lines of search terms you want to delete.

Good luck! Hope this helps you.

I don`t understand, you wanted to get rid of cookies, or clear the search history? If you used Mozilla Firefox, you know there`s that Clear Private Data option (accessible by pressing Ctrl-Shift-Del). If you`re still using Internet Explorer, better change fast.

sure i can help you.
to delete cookies, go to
start>control panel>Internet options> there you can delete cookies, and history ect
now to delete history from your search engine go to
tools>Internet options>content>auto complete> clear forms
This will clear out all your auto completed forms, such as search windows, form fill ins,
or to just delete a single (or a few) searches, just have them highlighted in the drop box down list and hit delete, they will vanish. If you hold down the delete key the whole drop down list of searches will delete
