The standard conversion in volume is: 1 quart = 0.946 liter.

1. How many cups is in a quart? Four.

12 cups divided by 4 cups equals 3 quarts.

Three quarts multiplied by the conversion factor is 2.838 liters.

There are 1000 millileters per liter, so take the liters and multiply by 1000, and you get 2.838 x 1000 = 2838 milliliters.

So, your answers are: 12 cups water is 2.838 liters and 2838 milliliters.

1 cup =8 oz
12 cups= 12x8=96 oz
1 oz =30 ml
96 oz x 30 ml/oz=2880 ml, or 2.88 L

PS someone here told you 1 cup =250 ml. This is an approximation, it's acutally 240
