What would be considered "useless information"? I don't think there is any useless information in my brain. Having too many facts and knowledge would drive you insane I think and you wouldn't be able to live a normal life. Think of that guy (played by Russel Crowe) in that movie when he was a math genius. You just need to have the knowledge on how to channel that "useless" information into a dormant part of your brain for a time span and keep reading and learning more knowledge. Sometimes, book-smart people lack common sense.
