We all know how the white man encroached on the Native American's Land, broke treaties and finally left the Native Americans without a country or even a US state they were still in charge of. What would the 20th century's world events have been like if they had prevailed and kicked the white man out?

The Natives put great effort into the importance of peace and the respect of Mother Earth, and all that was born onto her.

Family was of the highest importance. Which today is almost obsolete.

Women held alot of power in the decisions and community. Women were seen as able to withstand anything, as they were the ones who were able to bare children, bring life to such a beautiful place.

There would be so much more peace and happiness.

People tend to fall into the stories of "savages" and the euro-perspective of the "indians" of earlier days. The truth is that Natives were a very peaceful people, who held the greatest Law and order to ever be known to man.

The Iroquois league of nations had their Constitution intact for thousands of years before Euro-invasions. And it was found, after much exploring by Europeans, to be the most thorough and greatest foundation ever to be written SO,
The U.S. Constitution was based on the Iroquois' spectacular Laws.

So I believe that Natives would have prospered very well without the invasion of Europe.

Mother Earth would have definitely benefited most, as she has seen the most damage through the years.

I think the greatest opportunity the American Indians had would have been if the Iroquois Nation had formed and alliance with the Herron nation instead of being on opposite sides of the French and Indian War. This would have been an opportunity to massacre both the French and English colonial interests at a time when there was still minimal interest in North America. If the then triumphant Iroquois-Herron alliance could then create there own Manifest Destiny and spread there nation across modern Canada and The United States. I think a continental cold war would have existed between these northern interests and colonial South America with Mexico as the Berlin. This Ecco-friendly super-state would dominate world culture and force its will upon the dirty low-life Europeans.

Well i don't think we would be experiencing global warming on the same scale, however Western Europe may have become a communist state when the Germans attacked, and it may not have been long before they tried their luck with our transatlantic native americans effectively giving thepower of the world to Nazi Germany. I don't like to what if history it could start a chain of events which are kinda worrying, of course it could have the opposite effect but who knows, better the devil you know as they say

I think had they won the wild west we would possibly be a better nation and have closer family ties with one another and would have learned tolive with others like in different countries If the family unit had been in tact that is the foundation of any nation and How a nation takes care of their old people reflect so many things,,,,,So the ANSWER to your quest It certainly must be a lesson to have learned well as we are no longer the america we were nor do I think we shall EVER be again...

Shootings and beatings is what NDN people have discovered to anticipate from white regulation enforcement. relax in Peace Mr. Williams.

Probably a lot more civilised. We wouldn't have had as much technology though, I don't know if this would be such a bad thing. No McDonalds, no KFC, no processed junk food, no pollution, no nuclear warheads...hmm. You can't say really no one can look into the future from an alternative past.

Read 'Guns, germs and steel' by Jared Diamond. A great book on precisely this kind of question - or rather WHY did white Europeans win? And the answer, funnily enough, is in the title.

The Native Americans never had a chance -- if they had won, they'd have had to do what the Japanese did and learn European ways of trade, statesmanship and politics.
