how do i check if my computer has a DVD burner?

kindly help?

Go to start, control Panel, system,and device manager
then go under cd rom and it should say it.

Click Start-->My Computer
All drives are listed here. If you have a dvd drive it will be listed. If it's a standard dvd-rom it'll say that or it'll list it as a dvd-rw (re-writable) if it's a burner.
If you don't have one the prices are nice nowadays. $50-$60 will get a good one with some cheaper. Plextor is the best in my opinion but Lite-On makes a good one for about $50.

Look in the program list in the "start" menu. Look for Cd / DVD burning software, you should be able to use process of elimination.

you may be able to try to put a dvd where the cd usually goes on where you usually put the cd game when you put the DvD in it should load up if not then u may not have one just try it im not positive if it would work..

the box it came in should tell you.. also on front of "tower" or cpu it would have a sticker that said DVD/ rw or something like that.

on your drive it will say dvd and under it r/rw or rw or r
