Go to Yahoo! and scroll to the bottom of the page. Click the link: Suggest A Site. This will open another window for submitting a site. Here you need to select: Submit Your Site For Free. Also, you can submit it by using the last link in this window called: Yahoo! Standard. Another suggestion would be to find other sites with same or similar content and request a link through from the Web Master. You will in turn place a link to each site that links you, on your site. Works great and gets me a lot of traffic. good luck.

your going to have to read up on web search engins and you will get tips on how to setup your web page so that when anyone dose a search on the web your site is on the list

The best thing you can do is promote the site yourself. Put a link in your sig.
If you sign up for an account at shorturl.com, you can get put in a waiting cue to be added into several search engines.

look for free search engine submission deals
post it on blogs (don't spam it though on them)
get friends with sites to post it for you
The more postings it has out here the more
web crawlers will find it and it will eventually
show up more frequently in Search Engines.
