My car is starts but won't move! It is manual- I've been talking to several people about it and they say it could be my brake line that is frozen or my e-brake... so how do you check to see if it is either one?

Give me steps please...

Take of wheel... and so on

I do not know ANYTHING about cars- so if you tell me to check the caliper I have NO idea what it looks like or where it is located. The mechanic isn 't open and I really need my car. PLEASE HELP!!

I drive a Standard Mustang... Thursday night we had ice and snow and it went down to 10 degrees so I thought everything was frozen- I checked it again today because it is 40 degrees out and it still isnt working.

First off,its not wise to drive a Mustang in the winter. Second, put it in first gear, release the emergency brake lever, find the biggest hammer you can swing, get on your back behind the rear wheels, and hit the plate thats behind the rear wheels-hit it around the edge, alternate between left and right side un til you can spin the wheel or move the car-let me know if this helps ya

Even with a stuck E-brake the car should still move. What happens when you put it into gear and release the clutch? If it revs but doesn't budge I suspect you actually have a failed clutch.

Try this. Start the car, put it into gear, release the clutch and see if it idles. If it does your not getting any power from the engine to the drive axle because the clutch is fried.
