Why do you girls get all silly over (guy) celebrities ... i.e. singers/pop stars...?
I have never seen the pussycat dolls come onstage and GUYS start fainting all over the place, scream their heads off ..or get hysterical.
Why do girls do this ..?
If your boyfriend started getting all excited and acting stupid when Halle Berry or Angelina jolie was on tv ..would you slap him ..?
If so why is there this double standard when its Beckham, Brad Pitt or Robbie williams (for example) ...
.. and why do you guys let your girls get away with all that bull -sh11te hypocrisy ... whats good for the goose i say.
So ... can someone tell me why this happens ... even a woman who has grown out of this stupidity.
There is nothing wrong with fancying anyone .. but what exactly is the hysteria about..?

The answer to this question is really a very simple one! Girls, young ladies and even older women want to be the center of attention to every single male in the universe....Now we scream because we want this celebrity, rock star or famous athlete, to look our way to acknowledge us.... so, then we can think back for the rest of our lives about the day the famous so and so looked at me and taught i was a sex goddess...women, shriek, shrill and scream because it is easier and quicker that saying "Hey mister rock star....my name is the Hummer and I want you to acknowledge me dammit.

I'm a girl, but I could never ever scream because of some celebrity. I've been to a concert of somebody who I was crazy about, but I didn't scream, I just enjoyed myself and the show. But then I'm probably weird.
I think it's OK if the girl is about 15 years old, but I find it annoying and stupid just as you do and don't understand it myself. I mean, if you were to meet the famous guy face to face and you'd go all hysterical, he's gonna think you're stupid and childish. No way he would respect you.
I've not really answered your question, sorry, it's just my opinion.

Yes I did when I was a teenager but not since. I was crazy about the Beatles, Leonard Nimoy, and Robert Vaughn.

Since you guys do not take as much time and effort to look good for the opposite sex unlike us females, it is our right that only we can go crazy over hot guys who take the time and effort to look good for the women and are talented at the same time too.
I bet your wife drools over some hot guy with a six-pack and nothing on but a smile. When she sees him in person, she'll go hysterical just wait and see.

i know what you mean. there is a good looking teacher at my school and all the girls go completely silly around him.
i think it is to do with the fact that girls are more emotional, and have less ability to control it. this isn't anything against girls, its just my knowledge. like boys generally cry less than girls, and in the same way we get excited less than girls.

We do this to make you feel bad. Guys are secretive about their fantasy idols or they just wait and watch when we are not around, at least we are honest . If a guy quit looking at a pretty girl or women I would begin to wonder.

sorry, i am a culprit of the hysteria from gettin excited about male celebrities.
girls don't like to keep their emotions inside. also girls CARE more about celebs and dream that every night that one day we could meet orlando bloom.
it may sound stupid to you boys, but it is in our nature. like boy's nature is to be obnoixous and aggrogant.
you guys complain that you never understand girls, you may not know why, but girls go CRAZY over male celebs.

As a teenager i would get all stupid over westlife i think it most be all them hormones. nowadays if i fancie someone of t.v. etc i keep it too myself i dont thinks its nice to say anything infornt of my boyfriend cos if he did about girls aloud etc id get in a storp and think he thought they were better looking then me. its normal for other to catch your eye but keep it 2 urself

Girls get all histi, but men restrain them selves better. Ask her if she has ever thought of giving Brad/Robbie one when she see's them on tele, Bet you have when you see Kylie/Pussycat dolls. Thats the difference between the sexes.

Girls are more open in general. Blokes never speak about their feelings, girls always do. At least you know what's going on in your girlfriends mind. I bet she has no clue who you fancy and why. I prefer being an open book and screaming out my emotions in all circumstances.
