It's just a division of labor. For whatever reason, black athletes tend to possess the best combination of speed, quickness, size, and strength. So young black players who possess these traits are usually put in the positions where those athletic skills are most needed -- RB, WR, Defensive back.
Speed and quickness are less important for QBs, so this is a good position for a young white player to specialize in, rather than try to compete with blacks for the other skill positions.

This is the dumbest question ever asked. It doesn't matter if a guy is black or white. Come on people, it's 2006 already. And for the guy that said that you have to be smart to play quaterback, that was plain racist. Warren Moon, Donovan McNabb, Steve McNair, Michael Vick, Troy Smith, Vince Young...... they seem to be black guys to me. Red Grange was a great runningback... and he was white. So think about the questions that you post and the answers that you give.

Buck B, Tiki Barber is a running back and he graduated as a valedictorian in high school and got an academic scholarship to the University of Virigina. You know there are smart African-Americans do you? I think most RBs are black because they are faster, in my opinion, and caucasion people have better arm strength. I don't know really. XD

seems qb are breed early and are white and black athl are breed as running backs...its a culture thing from birth, and this is coming from someone who coahes pop warner and up
